Default Lift/tire height question

Wanting to put on a 3.5 to 4inch lift and 35's on my 2011 unlimited rubicon. My issue is where I have to park at work is in a covered multilevel garage. The ceiling is 6 foot 10 inches tall at the lowest point.

I need to know what the height on this set up tops out at, please? I have both tops and fell like the soft top definately should ride taller due to less weight and what I believe is more headroom due to the engineering. And of course the hardtop is hella heavier.

So, get out your tape measure and turn on the lights and get to measuring - tallest point on level ground please!

it depends if you will ever go taller then 35s.. if you don't, just get a 2.5inch terra flex lift.. another option you can get 35s on there with no lift, cut fenders and extended bump stops.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still looking for some sound numbers though. Anyone got a measurement?

You should be fine. I have a 2dr, on 4" (4dr springs) so they yield about 6". And running 37's. I barely clear 6' 8"

Im 6 feet tall and have a 4in lifted rubicon on 35's. Its taller than I am. Youre cutting it close. Be careful.

Howitzer,

I had the same concern as my garage door is pretty low. I just installed a Rock Krawler 3.5 kit and 35" tires. Overall, about a 6" lift at the rear. It's tallest w the soft top not so much from weight, but from the frame bars. At the tallest point, my '12 JKU is 79" tall and the RK kits are known to be taller than advertised.

I don't think you'll have an issue.
