Default Lifted Jeeps - Variable Ride Height Depending on Temperature

Its been 70-80, no lower than 65 during the day here in Jax, FL for the past 2-3 weeks and today the high was 50 and the low was freezing.

Anyway I had gone to Wal-Mart and on my way out I was looking at the spacing between the top of my tires to the bottom of the fender well and it honestly made my 35's look tiny. It looked like I had an additional 1" of lift. I t was kinda cool because the other day I was wondering to myself what my Jeep would look like with an additional 1" of lift.

Was this all in my head or do the coils just get harder and therefore 'taller' when its very cold out?

Its more likely the tires contracting and expanding.

The air is denser when it's cold out.
