Default Light setup, how about this...

Thinking about some light setups, how about this one:

The A pillar mounts with pencil beams and a bumper mounted pair of driving lights. So, two sets of lights, a pair of narrow beams by the windshield and driving lights on the bumper.

I think that would cover most situations when trailing at night.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Aw, sheepdip. I put this in the wrong section. Sorry, there's a lighting category.

I am running the set up you describe and its working great for me!

In theory the pencil beams will give less glare off the hood as compared with fogs or driving lights, which is partially why I opted to go this way.
