Default Lightest 17x9 wheel

I"m pretty sure that BFG makes the lightest 35" Tire with their KM2. I'm looking to mount it on a lightweight off road (black) wheel. Does anyone know where I can compare the weights of wheels to find the lightest option?

why the heck does no one ever seem to have an answer on tire and wheel weights? Is it a nation secret or do you just slap wheels and tires on without knowing the weights? If it was a pure crawler, more weight the better but for a DD, I want something with as little unsprung weight as possible.

as stated above -- I think anyone can go on a wheel site or two and find the weight (and most likely what someone would do to provide you any kind of answer). Why not just take a few minutes and do that -- it will take you the same amount of time.

How many sites list wheel weights? I know summit did for a while but it takes some digging for comparison. Its odd to me that no one has compiles a list of wheel weights and tire weights. It was common in ATV forums to have this info available.

that is def conflicting information from what I've seen but I'll look into it. Unless I"m thinking of the 37's but I only recently started looking at 37s and 38s. I know that Toyo's are up there regardless of size. Another thing is, if a manufacturer's tire sizes can't be relied on, why would we rely on their weights? it would be nice for an online retailer to list that info on each tire give buyers all the info they need to make an educated decision on purchase. just need to get that hemi so a few extra pounds on the tires won't matter

First I believe the new MT/R offers the lightest 35.

Next, why would you care about the lightest rim???

Aluminum will be lighter an steel. Rolled aluminum is lighter than forged. Thin rolled aluminum is lighter still. These are the crap rims that tear when you hit a rock on the inside bead. Then, you'll be paying twice for that rim.

You get what you pay for unless it's all about mall crawl'n.

not looking to sacrifice strength to save a few pounds but in the case of the only two wheel weights listed so far, a 15 lb difference can be huge if the strength is perceived to be similar. just don't want to be spinning extra unnecessary weight with that little motor. It downshifts at 65 on a flat with a headwind as it is

Just checked out your ride, one of the best looking jeeps I've seen. Great wheel and tire choice
