Limb Risers ???
Is there a thread anywhere for making or buying a set of limb risers????
I drive my jeep off road on two tracks a lot and have a few scratches on hood, sides and doors when they are on. Thats ok for thats what I bought it for..
A TJ joined our club awhile back and he had a set of limb risers, worked great.
I had a tree branch smack my windsheild this summer.. and I have been looking for a set but no luck ........
I love driving out in the woods even more in the fall .....
Help !!!!!

i've been wondering this myself since i can't go anywhere's off road without a tree limb smaking my windshield. the TJ ones are fine because the fender are part of the body rather then big pieces of plasic sticking out. i've been thinking you could use the hood latch mounting point as an anchor and either drill into the window frame on each corner, or use a roof rack for the top mount points. but that's why no one has made any yet, there's just no place to put them.
why not put a plate on the lip where the hood meets the body above the finders. make the plate a foot or so long and about four/six inchs wide, use the exsisting mounting hardware( unless you need longer bolts). And put an eye bolt there? You would still need a light bar above the windshield however to mount the other end of the wire. If you were going top-less you could pipe clamp a couple of steel pipes to the center roll bar. They would stick up about four feet though
. then the really big limbs would be a problem. Or you could just pick a trail without killer tree branchs. We call that the Texas car wash out here
