Line x outside of jeep.
I think the problem is that we find a lot of cheap off brand companies and people doing cheap crap jobs. I would go to a pro and pay big bucks to ensure it looks good. Im not gonna do it like some i have seen.
I didn't care much for the carbon fiber look as someone posted the link to that thread above. After seeing some of the pictures above of some JK's bedlined I like it and now would consider it to mine in the future. Like someone else said there are a lot of knock offs and people doing shitty bedline jobs and that's what worries me is because I know that and I have also seen a lot of spray bedline jobs where the color faded or oxidized in less than a year so I worry about that.

The place Im taking mine is telling me that they will give it a lifetime colr fade warranty. They are gonna do all the prep and after the spray they come back over it with a gloss to keep from having the cleaning problem a lot of people talk about. The gloss with keep it from going to that ugly faded color people are thinking of. Im not gonna go just anywhere to have mine done. IM not gonna let some redneck on the corner who thinks he can spray touch my jeep. They said they would do it all and color match inside the doors and stuff for $2000.00. I know its a lot but its the last paint job Ill ever get.
Yeah, probably not a bad price. Does the gloss finish last forever too? Do they said anything about maintenance to it such as any type of waxing to make the gloss finish last? Like paint, will branches or limbs scratch the gloss finish off?

One guy told my they spray it just after the liner. Due to the fact they they are both very hot they bond together. He said that linex told him that it is stronger than linex after the gloss. He said he didnt think it was true but that what he was told.
They warranty is on the gloss too. It will last. I dont care if it dont tho. I will have a warranty and they will fix it if it does. I like that feeling. A paint job with a warranty.
is line x easy to touch up? i mean i have a line x'd bed on my king ranch and well it looks like dog shit from scrapes and chips. and seems like it would be harder to touch up. i have a buddy with line x rails on his tj and they also look bad after kissing rocks. but i guess most people wont be banging rocks on their body..
