it will hold up better than the thin metal you spray it on. If you rub something hard enough to hurt the line x you have more problems than paint.

That line-x'd jeep looks awesome.
That being said, I will now begin construction on my time machine, travel back in time, and order my JK without a paint job and have it coated with line-x.

Sorry for the late reply, out on business. I had it done, but did all the prep work myself (removing seats, grinding out rust, etc).

Here's my take.

I think it looks a typical redneck first of all.

If you ever crunch you body in a non replaceable spot, you are in for a serious bill for the bodywork.

If you ever want to add armor or fenders etc.. You are going to have HELL getting the linex off to get them on.

You will make your jeep heavier with no real benefit.

Last but most important, contrary to popular belief, the material really does not stick to paint all that well. Once it breaks loose in a small spot it tends to keep going. If they do not prep you rig REALLY REALLY well, you can be sure that somewhere ( probably several somewheres) it will start peeling. I have seen several times when people pulled their entire tailgate coat off in one smooth sheet.

Take the 2k+ and put it toward something useful.
