An auto locker on the front is invisible on the road as long as you are in 2H. In 4wd it will lock when you are on the throttle. If for instance you are driving in snow with your Jeep in 4H you should take your foot off the gas to turn or you can slide a front wheel.

I'm running a Detroit on mine and would do it again. If I wanted drivability, I wouldn't have picked a Jk! I too was afraid of what it would do on snow and ice. Don't worry, its all good! Some getting used to in town, sometimes you push the clutch in and wait to complete your turn, but totally worth it! The clacking and noise just adds to the experience Alot of passengers think the thing is busted because of the unusual noises it makes, me, I just smile and tell them its the locker that is causing all this ... some don't get it, makes your Jeep mean.
-do it! I did, and I would do it again! Most reliable thing out there. No air, no electrical gimmicks, nothing to be torn off while you're playing...love it!

In a 4 door you should be fine even with these front and rear. You will ok with a 2 door too just a little more noticeable, your lockers you pop more and it might show a little more twirk on the road but nothing you can't get used to. I drove a cj7 on 35s with these front and rear and it took a few try's just to even turn around on a normal street. So turning might be affected a bit..

Its not noisy, or I should say almost never noisy. Sometimes when it engages or dissngages you can hear it when doors and top are off.
I find it creates some"push" because both wheels are engaged and when you push the clutch in, its like the whole drivetrain releases...lol this doesn't sound good does it? lol Hard to describe something so small without making it sound like a disastrous setup hahaha
-its not bad at all, just what I feel.
