The problem that you are going to run into is that the new Dana 44 has a thicker axle, and different spline count than previous ones. I think ARB has one that works with the Sahara 44, and I am not really sure how that one is any different than the X model.

X and Shahara have the same 30 spline D44 rear. Rubicon has a 32 spline rear. The X and Sahara axles have several locker options available. ARB, Ox, Detroit, to name a few. There are no aftermarket locker oprions for the Rear Rubicon D44.

The Front X and Sahara have a 27 Spline D30. The Rubicon has a 30 Spline D44. The X and Sahara axles have several locker options available. ARB, Ox, Aussie, to name a few.

I have not heard of a Aussie for a rear X and Sahara axle. Why not go Detroit?
