Default Which locker should i get???

Im about to get my 08 2 door X with auto trans and 35's regeared to 5:13. While they have it torn down, im considering getting a locker installed in the back (do the front later). What locker should i go with? the guy at the shop thats doing the install recommends some type of e locker. what do you folks think?

By the way, its not really my everyday driver, but i want it to drive like one.

thanks

just an air compressor to run them. i've bought a set of arb's from david at northridge4x4 and think they have the best deal on them. as far as e lockers go, do you mean like the factory ones? i've gone through 2 rear e lockers and now run an arb.

If I could afford ARB, that is the way I would go. I have more of an aussie locker budget. lol. ARB has a great rep and a tough product. If you don't already have onboard air, you will need to buy a compressor.

ARB has a better reputation for reliability than the currently available E lockers. If you have the additional funds I would go ahead and upgrade the axles shafts too.
As to the best deal, many parts dealers carry ARB lockers and moly replacement axle shafts. Were it my money, I would call Dave at Northridge 4x4

If I got what I could afford I would be on a bicycle forum right now. I don't mean the cool kind either... I mean wal-mart sporting goods section $88 special.

The aussie locker is just an auto locker. its ok for my area because the wheeling I do isn't that hard and it almost never snows here. ARB is the way to go if you got the cash. I think that the lockers come with hoses, but I am not sure. You need to budget in the money for the kick ass diff covers that are bright red and say ARB also. That way everyone knows!

Call Dave at Northridge, he has all the answers to all your questions.

ARB's are awesome! I have them on all of our vehicles except the JK's but they are coming for that

All you need is the locker and the small compressor it comes with all the switches, wiring harness, air line ect.

We have a ton of ARB's in stock ready to ship give me a call and we will work with you.
