I ended up replacing the switches, which just had a tiny (1/16" or so) green LED to indicate on with switches that had the entire faceplate light up when on. That was better, but it was still something I had a problem with. If you were to bump a locker switch on and start tooling down the road, you could cause some serious damage. On the front axle you'd know immediately something was amiss (steering is very stiff), but the rear axle is a bit more subtle.
Interesting, and important! Haven't had that happen, even tho I kept the switches toward the left of the area for better visibilty - and I'm 6'3". Must be the difference in geometry of the dashboards. The dash changed a lot in '11.

I DO trip the electric door locks with my knee constantly, though. I figure the guy who decided where to put the lock switch had 27" inseams

I used the Rugged Ridge A Pillar Pod for $18 on amazon. Currently I have just one switch on it in the lowest position.

Not my picture by this is what it looks like. I think it is very clean which is important to me.

Has anyone found factory style switches that can be mounted next to the hazard lights switch? Seems like the most ideal to me and what I would do I if could find them.
