I had a Lock Right Locker installed in the rear. I think it works great, cheaper than a air locker or e-locker. The only thing is when you turn you hear it clicking, but it doesn't bother me.

I'm going with an ARB Locker for my front when I get some money.

Detroits front and rear and call it a day.

The D30 has been around for MANY years and hold up to being locked and wheelin' quite well.

e-locker makes a great selectable for the front d30. Aussie makes a great lunch box locker for the front d30. Your choice for the Rear or Detroit, Aussie, or ARB.

Get a locker in the rear first if you only have money for 1. It will make the biggest improvement. If you want a selectable go with the eaton e locker. It works great.

I had an Aussie in the d30 of my ZJ and it works good. In low range crawling in the rocks, it wants to go straight and you can feel it in the steering wheel. I guess that's ok, but I took it out and put an OXlocker in and use air from my CO2 tank to engage it. It's a "MUCH" better locker and I only engage it when needed. The OX is a stronger carrier and the cover also adds strength to housing. There is a lockrite in the 8.8 rear end. I have to say, though, that it's not as nice as the lockers in my new Rubi.

Default Front or rear locker

I have an 09 Sahara which came equipped with the posi-rear end. Not sure if that was the case withe 07. I've been advised by several 4wd shops to go with a front locker and I would be fine for most wheeling.

I have Limited Slip in the rear and have been advised a few times as well to do the front first. I was just concerned with the Dana 30. I want to go with a selectable as well. Great advise guys! Thanks! Now I got to make a decision...uggggg!!!!!

I am running 35's and did not regear...that is something else folks have been telling me to do or worry about....any suggestions?

If you are putting in a locker that would be the ideal time to regear. Though if you are happy with the power drop you don't have to re-gear.
