Car didn't come with a key, so I'm curious if anybody might know what brand this is. PM me if you happen to know. Thanks!!

You need to take it to a shop that has the wheel lock removal socket set. It drives on to the lock and then able to remove.

New from the dealer like that? Is that the only wheel that's locked?

Did you check under the jack for a key?

I'd be calling the dealer.

i had this problem a couple months ago and was scrambling around from dealership to auto store trying to buy the same set which was basically impossible when i found out that there were 200+ possibilities that it could be.

Don't worry though, honestly you tube locking lug removal and there are plenty of vids about taking it off. Go buy a cheap 12 point socket that fits just snug over the locking lug, put a breaker bar on it and you'll have it off in no time. it took me about 30 seconds to get mine off. good luck.

Thanks man. Gave it a quick try earlier after checking out the google machine. No dice, think I need a deeper ratchet. Trying not to strip it.

I had the problem when I got my TJ. I had a locking nut on my spare and no key with the Jeep. I just swung by the nearest Jeep dealer and asked them to kindly remove it. Guy went out with a few attachments of something and just took it off in less them a minute. Didn't charge me anything either.

On the other hand it made me wonder how many other folks have these tools as it didn't really slow him down much. I suppose just like every deterrent, it keeps the honest folks away.

^^^^ Great suggestion. Went to every auto parts store and tire shop with a whole bunch of negatory ghost rider. Tried doing it with a few different deep sockets with no luck. Just stopped by the dealership (not where I got it) and they knocked it out in 10 mins on Christmas Eve at no charge. Always hear the horror stories, but this was quite the opposite. Anyway, thanks again man, Merry Christmas.

i picked up a locking lug removal kit at O'reilly's... i guess it depends on what type of lug it is though. sorry it didn't work out for you. seriously i'd try you tubing it, there are a lot of vids on there that are helpful. Good luck
