Default Looking for performance

What's up guys! Recently installed a 3.5 BDS lift, with 35" wrapped around 17's, on my 2011 4dr JK Sport. That pretty much zapped the majority of my budget, I'd like to RE gear when funds are available. In the meantime I'm looking for affordable way to gain HP, so wanted to get some advice on cold air intake vs super chip or programmable tuners? Do either one actually make a difference in performance?

Automatic? A $160 procal will correct your shift points from your larger tires and make it feel a lot more powerful.

Once you've fixed the speedometer with the Procal, regear. Everything else that you could spend a little money on just puts off actually making a real improvement.

The procal will be the fix until you can regear. Welcome to the forum.

this x2. ive tried a a few things before regearing (exhaust, cai,k&n filter) and it was just a waste, minus the procal.

Iv got a 2010 sahara
Noticeable positive difference in performance after installing magnaflow exhaust, k&n filter (not cai, just filter), and superchips flashpaq. Better mpg by abt 1.5-2 on avg. Better throttle response and shift points in power setting on flashpaq. Recommend the drop in filter and exhaust if possible.

Agreed Procal, then start saving. I learned the hard way, CAI, TBS, free flow exhaust, plugs, plug wires, synthetic oil, etc etc. Dont get me wrong when you take a jeep on 35s or 37s from 70 hp to 90hp it feels like you added nitrous. LOL at least I sounded fast.

id bet most of the improvements were from the superchips power setting.

Like everyone else has said, I would go with a tuner like the Superchips FlashCal Programmer. This one and the AEV Procal are the most popular. You'll notice the biggest difference in power once you get around to regearing, but in the meantime this will help a ton.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Don't waste your money on Cold Air and exhaust.

1)A programmer will help some on a manual but more on an automatic.
2)A Sprintbooster makes a noticeable improvement as well
3) Ripp mods makes a very nice DYNO PROVEN headers, exhaust, tune, and intake package that is designed to work together.
4) a re-gear will make the biggest improvement
