Thank you guys for the replies. I'm not interested in the pioneer unit. Now if you had the kenwood, then.........
Aside from that, I was concerned when the one guy stated noise was reduced. I think I'm ordering the lock pick. I hate the Navteq. Worst gps I have ever owned. We moved to Colorado last June, changed my home state. We will have past an eatery. Forget where it was but input the name and the gps will show one 800 miles away. Happens for the Lowes, a Home Depot, museums, you name it. Always tries to send us to California or Texas. Thus, the reason for the desired Garmin unit. I am watching an eBay bid right now for a 730n RHR. Depending on what it goes for, I may pull my unit and put in the kenwood. I just have a hard time justifying $1k for a radio and gps. Even with a swap out and sell of my unit, I'm still looking at $300 (approx) more to change out the unit as compared to going Lockpick.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Might be a slight misunderstanding. The lockpick doesn't change the stock units volume in any way. I was merely stating that the money spent on the lockpick (in my case) could have gone towards a new head unit that wouldn't require an add on for the video function and would put out a cleaner and better sound.

Installed and pleased! Camera works as it should, the co pilot can input gps coordinates on the move, and a number of other features I will eventually take advantage of.

I have the Lockpick installed on my 2010. It is several years old so it is the previous version. It does everything it says. I love it.

I used one of the video inputs for a reverse camera, and another for my HAM radio. I want to use the last video in for a camera mounted on the rear differential looking forward, but have not done it yet.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCpv1OUG2RM&feature=channel I like it because it is fully integrated with the factory equipment, UConnect still works. I know the radio is not the best or loudest, but with the top off at 70 Mph, who can hear high fidelity anyhow.

Here is a pic with my HAM radio screen.
