LoD has cut/drilled the bumper to accommodate the Rigid FLUSH mount Duallys/D2s. The flush mount version has a flange with four bolts that mount the light to the surface of the bumper. Extremely simple/clean install with the bumper already cut for it.
I used a switch with a relay. The lights come on in reverse thru the N/C contacts of the relay. I use a switch to turn them on as needed. The switch actually energizes the relay. Mounted the relay behind the right break light assembly. Works great.

I have nothing bad to say about the quality of lod's rear bumper which I have that with the latched tire carrier. Customer service is what I would call above average. Not as good as northridge but good. I've only had it a few weeks. Now that being said I'll add it took 13 weeks to get the entire assembly. One it came powder coated and I asked for it not to be but no big. I needed an 8lug carrier for the wheels and was told it was definitely made that way for me and it wasn't ... After 4 weeks I got that (total time is still 13weeks). Last if you have a wheel with 3.5in back space then expect to modify the carrier to work. My trail ready 17x8.5 with 40x13.50 Toyos and 3.5 backspace did not sit completely up against the carrier as designed and I tried every mounting position possible. After some cutting, grinding, painting I made it work
