I ordered on July 15th and it should be delivered this Friday. Almost 1 month. I got the zinc coating which took an additional week. I hope it's worth it. I'm like a kid at Christmas. I'm studying the instructions and have already disassembled my existing bumper and carrier. I splurged and got the rigid backup lights.

Did you order straight from LOD or from Northridge? What made you go with the zinc coating?

I ordered mine though Quadratec and it took about 3-4 weeks. This bumper is solid and worth the wait. I'd seriously be concerned for someone ramming into the back of my Jeep now.

One of the biggest hurdles we had was removing the rear tow hook. Eventually had to use a sawzall to get it off. You do have to cut some holes but all in all the little bit of work is worth it.

I have a couple more questions. How deep is the 2" receiver hitch? Does it have rings to hook trailer safety chains too? Is there a trailer wiring metal clip to clip a 4 pin trailer wiring end too like factory? I can't seem to find any good pictures from a low angle.

The receiver is good and deep. They have a bolt on plate for the safety chains. I left mine off, cause it will just grind on rocks. You have to come up with your own trailer light connector mount. I tucked mine behind the frame cross member with the intention of drilling through the bumper to make a flush install with a 7 way rv plug. Someone wired my jeep before I bought it.

The zinc coating was a little bit of an impulse buy. I didn't really do a lot of research in it, but i figured what the hell. Anyone else go for the zinc?

3-4 weeks of waiting is nothing to complain about. I was told my Ace front bumper was going to be that long. 11 weeks later it arrived.

That finish looks nice. I may need to go with the zinc coating as well. Let us know how smooth the linked carrier is when opening and closing.
