Default LoD Front Bumper

So I've tried searching this and have gotten conflicting information. I'm going to be installing a LoD Signature Series Shorty Front Bumper on my 2013 JKU. I don't have a winch to install right now, but do I need a vacuum pump relocation kit? I've looked at LoD's site and they include one with their bumpers for a 2013, at a price of course, but when I ordered my bumper from Northridge I didn't get a relocation bracket.

Does anyone have any idea if I'll need to order one even without installing a winch at this time? I understand that when I do get a winch I'll need to install one, but I don't have the funds for a winch at this point in time.

Thanks.

74 views and no replies? No one has any idea what I'm up against here, or does everyone just install a winch as soon as they get their bumper?

I've been looking at the signature series shorty also for my 2012. I didn't catch that a relow kit would be included, I ended up deciding on the Armor lite shorty, with that bumper no relocation is needed. Just email David, he will have the answer for you.

You need the relocation bracket in order to install the winch plate. You will probably have to cut the forward arm of the original mount before you install your winch

I got my bumper with relocation bracket and set of bolts even when I. ordered for '11 JK. It costed nothing extra and '11 doesn't even need it.
Unfortunately in this case I'm located in Europe. Otherwise I could send it to you for free.

I have the mid width on a '12. I ordered the bracket when I ordered the bumper but they didn't send it. I got it later though. Anyway, I installed the bumper with out it. I did run into a problem though. The winch plate was hitting the bottom of the canister. I had to fab 2 extensions for both sides of the canister to bring it slightly toward the center of the vehicle and up. Not a problem though. Just time for painting the new brackets.

Edit to add.. I plan on getting a winch soon and I will have to relocate with the LoD bracket.

Well, that time came.. Winch is now installed.. That bracket was soooo easy to install. You Just have to figure how/what direction it bolts up. I also didn't have to uninstall the bumper to do it

Yes your going to need it. I got the bracket with my bumper. When I did the install of the bumper I was so tired at the end I thought that my winch would fit in there without the bracket. But I was wrong it was too big and to boot I changed my mind about having that ugly thing in the front exposed.

You will have to trim part of the original bracket. In a pinch you could wire the vacuum pump out of the way, but I would find/get a bracket as soon a possible.

Yeah I had to cut off the old mounting bracket. Then I painted it to prevent rust.
