There are two exposed bolts (shown in the red box) on the rear of the tire carrier that will hold a hi lift jack.

No antenna mount. I used the Cooltech unit, however before i bought that i thought about drilling a hole in the top of the bumper.

This is the picture I needed. I have the same wheels, tires and jeep color you have! It looks like this bumper will look food on mine! Thanks for the picture!

just to clarify, i believe chuck was showing pics of the gen 1. there are 3 versions... LoD rear bumper, LoD signature series (gen1), and LoD signature series (gen2). there are other differences, but the easiest way to tell is the light kit and the tire carrier: the LoD bumper didn't have the light kit whereas the signature series (both gen1 and 2) does, and the tire carrier on the gen1 is an a-frame design, whereas the gen 2 uses the square design. again, there are other differences, but you can spot which version of the bumper based on this.

i don't think there is a specific antenna mount on the gen2 - i'm guessing because that is a customer preference item on where to locate - but, one can be easily mounted - if you look at WOL's pic earlier in the thread you can see his antenna location.

speculating on the hi-lift mount because i haven't seen one mounted on the gen2 - but the gen2 has mounts for the 3rd brake light, and i don't know if this would interfere with where some were mounting the jack on the gen1 version (as chuck indicated above), so you might contact LoD directly, or wait for another post - i'm sure someone will have one soon.

We include a bolt on antenna mount, just ask when you order and we will get you one.

Does the LOD automatically stay open with some sort of click pin or do you have to manually insert a pin, or just hold it open?

I have never had a swing out tire carrier, for those that do is the opening mechanism easy to use, or does it make it a pain to access the rear of the Jeep?

I have been wearing the web out the past month trying to decide between the LOD and the Expedition One. Anyone with first hand experience have any pros or cons for either? arrgh,,, I cant decide,,,, please help! lol

let the search end - get the lod. obviously i'm biased, but i really have been very pleased with it. never used the expedition one, so i can't comment but as far as the lod goes...

there is a pin that locks it open at 90 degrees. locks it solid. takes a little effort to get it unlocked - but that's how you want it in my opinion. you don't have to open it all the way to access the back so it doesn't lock all the time - just when you need it to. the opening mechanism is nice. locks the carrier tight against the bumper so that there is no rattling but it is easy enough for one handed opening. i looked at some bumpers that open the tailgate when you swing away the carrier (not sure if the expedition one does that) because i thought it would be a pain to have to move the carrier and then open the gate, but i've never thought twice about it. insignificant in my opinion.

That is an awesome looking bumper. But it looks like to me it blocks the license plate. Is that true?
