Default Lod mid-width

I received my LoD mid-width bumper - The only instructions I could find were a writeup to a shorty install. I am wondering if you have to extend the wiring for the fog lights? The shorty write up says something about removing the front grill and unplugging the harness.

Any info would be appreciated.

Default Splicing wire

I have this bumper and spliced about 12 inches of wire on each side to make the fogs fit. You probably could drag things over to 1 side, and only splice the other, but I had the soldering gun out...

i have the same bumper and i didn't have to splice mine. where both the factory fog wires come together as one inside of that plastic shell thing, you just open that up piece and it'll allow you more length to extend far enough. there's no need to splice more wire unless you really want to.

You can extend them, but they also make some nice OEM style extensions with the same waterproof plugs as stock. Mine have held up well for over a year.
