Does anyone knows if the Expedition One will work with an European style hitch? I love the design a lot. All I have to do is find a freight ship to bring it to Europe (no free shipping to Holland I guess David ?! ;-)

I have the expedition one and would highly recomend it,i have had it for 2 years and there is no powder coat problems,no rattles ,no issues at all.

Buddy down the street has the lod and it is a year old,the powder coating is flaking off everwhere ,the hinge setup seems inferior to mine and it looks crappy compared too my expo.IMO

LoD has corrected this issue for us Northern Folks that get hit hard with road salt & bromide sprayed on the highways, with adding a two (2) stage Zinc Enriched Primer Powder Coating process. Also, they had issues with the Matte finish powdercoating company and have switched.

Chris has been great, my LoD gen2 was the Matte finish was flaking in spots and started to rust in places due to the poor powdercoating which sucked! "BUT" guess what??? LoD covered shipping costs, zinc primer coating & new textured powder coat for no extra cost out of my pocket on my gen2 bumper. Yeah it sucked to see a great bumper look like crap after a season...but you gotta like a company that will correct the issue and stand behind there product 100%.

In regards to the hinge pin "IF" maintained with shots of grease you will have no issues. Still no rattles or squeaks with my Gen2.

However, both are great bumpers & really can't go wrong with either choices.

Love my LOD, not all bumpers are created equal, very few can hold a 40" tire and the LOD Gen3 can with no problems.
