Default Lookin at new pro comp wheels, but what about the backspacing???

ALRIGHT, i'm switching from 17s to 18s because i got a sweet deal on some pro comp extreme a/t. I really like the black pro comp wheels but all the ones i like are 18x9 with 0mm 0ffset and 5" backspace. What i would like to know is this enough backspace for a lifted jeep? i will be running a 35 1250 18 with a OME HD lift kit. i really want my wheels and tires to stick out on the jeep. let me know what you think guys or if you have a suggestion for some sweet looking black wheels please let me know. thanks again

Best suggestion: keep the wheel between 15-17. Spend more money on rubber and less on wheels unless you are rich. If you are, I suggest 16 or 17 " AEV Savegre or Rugged Ridge Black Satin in 17". They are both hub centric. You will also find that tires stay sort of reasonably priced in this wheel range. I recommend the Dura-trac, but that's because I run, and like them. My .02C

yea i appreciate the info but i already have 17s with 33s on them and i've always thought the wheels just looked a little small. So i came across a great deal on some 35" tires for 18" wheels the other day so i just bought them, now i'm lookn for wheels. Would really like to find some 18x9 or 18x10 with 4.5 backspacing so they'll stick out nicely.

I have two sets of procomp wheels and tires.
Chrome plated 18x 9.5 with 4.5 backspace XT AT tires, good for summer but stick out to far for winter, use for summer only, actualy for sale.

Black 17 x 9 i think 4" backspace, this is kind of middle of the road, not in or out to far.

hope this helps

Most 17" rims will be in the 4.25-4.75 backspacing range. All will work on the JK.
