I paid $1500 installed. This isn't a project for the faint of heart. It should only be done be an experienced installer.

Anyone got any good suggestions or mods that have worked for them??? Thanks for any advice you give!
Gears are where it's at with the JK. Everything else but a Hemi is fluff. Most will give little or no return for the dollars invested. Save the shekels and regear.

X2. The exhaust/programmer might make a modest difference, but gears is really the only way to make a major difference short of big money engine mods.

Gears are a much bigger issue and a more pressing need for an automatic than a 6 speed.

Here are the final drive line numbers for an automatic with 5.13s and a 6 speed with 4.10s.

Automatic trans with 5.13 gears, final driveline ratio.

1st gear 14.57:1
2nd gear 8.05:1
3rd gear 5.13:1
4th gear 3.54:1

6 speed with 4.10 gears, final driveline ratio.

1st gear 18.29:1
2nd gear 10.70:1
3rd gear 7.05:1
4th gear 5.13:1
5th gear 4.10:1
6th gear 3.44:1

That's a broader driveline ratio for a 6 speed on both ends of the gearbox with 20% less of a differential gear.

That said and with the knowledge that the original poster has an automatic, the answer is pretty definitive, gear, gear, gear.

With a 6 speed it's a whole different ball game and the urgency to re-gear isn't anywhere near as great and a whole different set of options can be explored to gain performance.
