Thoughts?
Warn is the only one with a built in air compressor, if being able to air youre own tires up is a consideration. when I put mine on I had just finished modifying my popup camper for a long range offroad trip there was no time left for adding seperate on board air, since I was going with Warn anyway I just went all the way for a 12,000lb powerplant just my 2 cents worth.

Although I feel like all those add ons to a winch are like the TV/VCR/DVD combos, if one thing fails it's even more difficult to get them fixed or will make the others worthless.

Air compressors are cheap, light and portable why tie them to a winch?

Good compressors are not cheap, space for mounting is limited, painless wiring. I could think of more but I think everyone gets the point. I can't understand why we would spend TTTHOUSANDS of $$$ of dollars moddifing our jeeps and then try and find the most important part of our recovery gear at the dollar store. Plus I try and buy American if I want a job maybe I should help my neighborstay employed by buying his product.

I was contemplating this winch until I saw the cfm output is only 1.5cfm. That would take forever to fill up 35's back to psi. I have a york OBA system on my YJ that can output 10cfm and i can fill all 4 tires up in less then 10 minutes start to finish. Anyone on the board here try that winch yet?

Im using the new Warn Zeon 10s. I like it so far. Its pretty fast, has a fully sealed and rated waterproof case, and comes with synthetic line. It is a bit wider then some of the other models I looked at before I got this one. Im happy with it so far.
