Default Loud Clunk

Let me give you some background info. I have an 08' JKU Sahara. Front and Rear XHD bumpers (no winch). TeraFlex 2.5" lift. It was a budget boost that I got the shocks for to dump the adapters. So basically I have stock Sahara Springs but TF shocks and 2.5 pucks. I also have 1.5" spacers and Rubi Rails. I just put the new shocks on this week, and I love the feel and everything when traveling highway and every day running. One issue though is that whenever you hit a decent sized bump or rut at a decent speed (nothing extreme), I hear a loud clunk like the suspension is compressing faster or higher than it should be and is hitting the bump stops. Either that or the bumpstops are not sliding up and only letting the suspension travel less than it should be. Anyone ever experience this?

Take a pic of your bumpstops and post up. They may be too long.

Thats what I was thinking, but how do you fix that?!

And thats exactly what the sound would be coming from, when I hit a decent sized rut or bump at a decent speed the front suspension travels and slams the bumpstops.

Factory bumpstops would be fine. Maybe check teraflex website and buy their bumpstops

BTW, what bumpstops are those?

I have same lift. To me it looks like you don't have the bump stop extension pushed in completely and you are missing the oem yellow rubber bump stop. It is much softer than the extension. Hope this helps.
