Loud Poping noise!!! NEED HELP

Loud Popping noise!!! NEED HELP
I have noticed that when i am slipping my clutch or to lazy to down shift, periodically I have a really loud popping noise that i think comes from my intake. i have a raid air cold air intake. the popping noise almost sounds like a back fire, sometimes it is quiet sometime its really loud. it never pops out of gear but sometime it will make my throtle stick at 2000rpm untill i put it in gear. any thoughts on this? thanks
