the best low cost free mod I can think of is the do it yourself mud splatter paint job. just simply go to your fav offroad spot find some mud and go through it and then repeat until desired mud coating is achieved

The best cheap/free mod I have done besides the blinker mod is the mygig screen cover I made while I was bored at work. 1/16 square metal I found laying around and 1/8 plexiglass cut to 8&1/2" by 4" and drill 3/4 inch hole where the knob is then just jb weld and sand flush then black primer several coats and ordering a jeep decal to go on it
