Don't tighten it or the seat belt want return. You just need it to hold the belt. Nice thing it’s black and matches the interior.
I did the same thing but I used blousing straps. Cheap and easy mod

Where is that from? I'd love to look further into this.

I may be missing something but I think he just tack welded 1 - 5"x3/4" bolt to the top of each factory tow hook, slid the jack over the bolts and tightened with a wingnut

You can also drill a small hole thru the bolt and run a small padlock thru it. Not thief proof but would deture most.
That's how we have our bed mounted ones at work.

Picked up two amber led strips from autozone today for around $20. Slapped em on and set them up to work with my blinkers...

That looks pretty cool. Have to wire in any resistors or anything to keep from having a hyper blinker?

Not at all. Just followed the instructions for the side marker mod and everything worked great.

I was thinking after seeing this, that this would be a great upgrade for the trunck area for the two door? Since the rear seat gets in the way of the dome light! Attach to dome so when you open the gate lights turn on?

Yep. I've seen a couple do this with just normal universal dome lights on their hardtops, not necessarily LED's. Should work just as fine or better. You should just toss out that backseat...

Would love to toss the back seat, but until this is no longer the daily driver my 11 year old son likes to sit on that seat. Lol
