Default low profile bumper suggestions?

i'm looking for suggestions on a low profile bumper... something that doesn't protrude out from the grill very far. i'd also like to it to be a stubby bumper (but i'd settle for something mid-width if it was really low profile. i don't plan on doing anything that would require a winch (famous last words LOL) so lack of winch compatibility is not a deal breaker.

i really like the look of the bumper on the stitch concept, but realize that frame modifications would be needed for something like that

With all the crazy drivers out on the road I want a heavy duty bumper in the front and in the back. I'v read too many threads about people going over the double yellow line and getting in a head on collision and the treads about getting rear-ended.

There was a thread couple months ago a guy in New Hampshire in a Rubicon got in a head on collision with his stinger bumper and the Jeep ramped up the car and almost decapitated the car driver but the jeep stopped couple feet before it did. And the Jeep was still drivable!!!

I would look into any of the following smittybilt xrc mod/src, rancho and hi rock. Ik rancho has a small front bumper. Just pick up a quadratec or 4wd catalog.

Poison SpyderBFH requires cutting the frame. River Raider has a nice one as well. Hope this helps.

The Stitch bumper just looks like a 4" diameter piece of pipe. You could probably get someone to fab it up with mounting bolts.
