Default Lower control arms 23" or 23 7/8"

I need some advice. I am installing Teraflex Lower front control arms tonight. I have a 2011 unlimited Rubicon with 2.5 " TF coils with 1" spacer. It has a LOD front bumper lowering the height some. The forum installation says 23" eye to eye. The TF instructions for a 3" lift says 23 7/8 driver and 24 1/8 passenger. That is a lot of difference. Which do I use? Is the 23" ete for a 2 door? If so it is pretty close to the TF instructions.

Thanks for your help. The stock control arms are now loose and I am ready to go.

Randy

holy cow, 24" is a LOT of additional lenght. factory is 22-5/8" and 23" is all you really need for such a minor lift. go anymore than that and your coils will be hitting your sway bar links.

Why does Teraflex recommend running the passenger side lower control arm 1/4" longer than the driver side, to account for the "crown in the road", when the OEM control arms are the same length on each side? Why does Teraflex need to account for the crown in the road when Chrysler doesn't.

I'm running the same set up with 23 1/8 driver 23 1/4 passenger and it runs/steers perfect. The reason for the extended length has to do with braking I believe, or at least that's what I think I read some time ago.

Thanks for the advice. I will go with 23 1/8 and see. I agree 23 7/8 seems like a lot.

I got them installed. Boy what a difference. I set them at 23 1/8 and 23 1/4. It drives great. Angle finder around 6-7 Degrees.

Thanks for your help. Teraflex needs to adjust their instructions!!

The arms are set at different lengths to offset the typical right side pull most JK's have. It has nothing to do with braking and I agree the instructions could use a update.
