Make a JK4Dr mimic a Rescue Concept?
Anyone painted the Hard Top Rescue Green?
I'm considering buying a Wrangler 4dr (which would require trading my 85CJ) however the only thing that'd make me happy would be something as close to the Rescue Concept as possible. First off...painting the HT Rescue Green. Anyone have any stats on the size of the Rescue Lift, type tires, Rims--I can't find similar rims with an initial search. Bumpbers? Gunmetal tubular sidebar+tubular roof-rack? The right fender flares (Zenon?)
If I can put one together, it'd be perfect. Plus, the color would piss off the wife. But hell.....it's my Jeep!

Couple things:
1) I don't really think you're an idiot or want you to die, but that was too good a poll option not to pick!
2) Rescue Green was supposedly un-discontinued (that's right - they were going to cancel it, then changed their minds and axed Light Greystone instead), so you should still be able to get a Rescue Green JK and get paint from a dealership.
3) I'm not sure if it's worth it... If you really loved the concept, then go ahead and attempt it - you'll probably be unique, because I don't think anyone else has done this.
Good luck whatever you decide.
