Man...I got passed by a prius.
For some reason this wouldn't bother me a bit! I mean what are you gonna do take your jk to the drag strip? Haha of course some power is nice. However, challenge that Prius to the trails and see who comes out on top!
Cruising along I-10 and a Prius comes whizzing (literally) up beside me. Now I know jeeps aren't fast; they aren't designed to be. But I tried to race him and I lost! He didn't even know we were racing!
I'm going to look in to speed mods now. If it were an airplane I'd be smoothing out those rivets...
So, what's the best bang for the buck for horsepower? It's an 08 2dr on 35" w/ 4". I need a regear I know but anything else? Anybody turbo'd these things?

Coming from a backround of multiple 1000+ HP Viper and Vettes and everything in between (And owning 2010 & 2011 JKU Rubicons, I can honestly say the 2012 is LIGHT YEARS ahead in power AND OVERALL PERFORMANCE ON THE STREET. It really is like a small V8 compared to the 3.8. I really think the 3.8 is almost dangerous from lacking power. I tooK a trip up to S.F. from Newport Beach on the flatest stretch of road you've ever seen and basically had to floor my 2011 because the head wind was keeping me from going past 75 mph, AND I went through 4 tanks of gas on that trip. If possible, upgrade to a 2012, forget the blower on the pre 12 because you still have that garbage tranny. Just my 2 cents from personal experience.
