Default to many possibilties

OK,, I know everyone should do searches before asking and I have done that but MAN,,, there are way to many possibilties to sort through.
I'm new to jeeps and am not looking to make mine the badest thing going but I would like a little more than stock.
Is there any combination that most can agree on? I mainly want to make this my daily driver and still get off road for some fun and also tow it behind the motorhome while traveling.
I'm thinking about a K&N cold air intake,, some type of exhaust upgrade,, a small lift maybe 2.5 inches so I don't have to go big on tire size to make it look right. A upgraded front bumper and winch and added lights.
So like I asked earlier,, is there a good combination that most would agree is a good combination for a basic rig?
I have a 2008 2 dr sahara (Jeep Green). The local 4x4 shop was recomending super chargers and other goodies that would be fun I'm sure but just to much.

The general consensus around here is a 2.5 inch coil lift (Teraflex, for one), with track bars, maybe one set of control arms, and 33s or 35s make a great entry level setup.

Be sure that you only buy one lift, so go a little more than what you think is necessary. I really like the 3" FT Ultimate and it will likely last me the life of my JK.
