Max tire size with out a lift.
Since a lift is out of the question I would do 33s. I would say 35s and flat fenders and bumpstops but I don't think your parents will let you chop your fenders up

I had the same problem, mom being worried. I can honestly say that it rides better now (after the 3" lift) and it does NOT feel any more unstable whatsoever. It's a jeep, not a Porsche so you shouldn't be driving it like one. Take corners slow, more people can watch you driving that bad boy.
Btw. 3" lift and 35"s
Btw. 3" lift and 35"s
welcome but since you have a car, you're in the wrong forum.. if you ever get a Jeep, then you're always welcome here! don't worry, you'll learn lol. and 35's are doable with some minor modification. but if you proportionally go with bigger/wider tires then equal lift, it is no less stable than a stock one. use math to your advantage and convince them.
At first my mom was like yours but after I showed her I did research how common they were she relented and I got a 2.5 tf coil lift and love it and now she finds excuses to drive my jeep it's ok cuz I haul ass when I drive her car
Op yeah its not a car its a rig or a jeep!(:
(Everyone gets this lesson i sure did)
I saw a guy with 37's with stock suspension! But idk how he did it look up on you tube stock jk on 37's and theres a guy on the forum that doesn't flex he is running 35's
It all depends on what you want to do with your jeep if your going to rock crawl get 35's with a 2.5 inch lift (theres some really cheap ones just search different companies i love Northridge 4x4)
If your going to the mall get some 33's with spacers so you don't rub!
Welcome from socal!
Just search a bit and you will find anything you need!(:

Max size without lift is 33 tall. Width will depend more on wheels/backspacing.
Ride out the tires you have now, maybe she will relent one day and you won't have spent money on tires you replace before they wear out.
Tire size is what you ask? Well that would depend in the size if wheel/run you have. If you run stock wheel, which is typically a 17" wheel, you can't just plop 33's under ur rig and that be the end of it. If you go with a 15" wheel you can rock a set of 33's with ease and they look great as well. Figure out that size wheel you want /have then we can make a good suggestion for you. Welcome and make sure you have fun in your rig. It's what they where made for!
