I have a rattle in my tailgate just like everyone else. I have searched a through a few threads, but have had no luck. So has anyone tried the mbrp brackets after they have already had the rattle in their tailgates and will this help stop the rattle?

 

Yes, but I installed mine before any rattles began. Im not sure it helps but I was running a 35 and now a 37 inch tire and I havent had any issues or noise. They will be for sale as soon as my tire carrier gets here.

 

I have to disagree.. the rattle could be coming from your hinges, latch or tire carrier. the MBRP reinforcement is to make sure the tire carrier doesn't pull away from the tailgate. I purchased the reinforcement kit thinking it would protect me but instead I had popped some welds at my hinges and that was the rattle.. there is a thread somewhere on this subject..
