Default Mesh screen top

Hey there gang, noobish question. Thinking of getting one of those mesh screen tops to use when the soft top is down, since I burn and turn into a lobster quite easily in the sun. Not sure which to go with, or to try and make one myself, but as far as they go, do you leave them installed even when the soft top is up, or do they have to be removed?

I have a Spiderweb shade and leave it on all the time once I take my hard top off for the spring. But you can leave it on with hard top as well if you want.

I would go with the spiderweb shade. You can leave it on with a hard top or a soft top on, and it doesn't require a header bar like others do.

I have the spiderweb and just got the trek armor mesh,
They are both really nice but I like the trek armor one more.
It covers more area, meaning all the way
To the roll bar doesn't leave gaps and it it sets on top of the roll bar (the spider shade leaves about an 1"-2" gaps and is slightly lower on the roll bars) the trek armor also blocks more sun.

It can also be left on just like the spiderweb.

Does the Trek one require a header bar?

Dirty Dog 4x4 also makes some nice sun shades. You can run them under your hard or soft top and they are well made. Let me know if you have any questions or would like a quote!

I have this and my GF has the spider shade. Dirty Dog fits better.

Yeah that seems to be the consensus. The spiderweb shade is cheaper but has a 1/2" gap or so around the perimeter. The dirty dog is more expensive but goes to the edge. The gap doesn't bother me so I went with the cheaper option.
