I have been looking to swap my old linear springs to metalcloak dual rates. After seeing a buddy with a tj that runs their coils I am amazed. The ride is plush and the amount of flex they give is incredible. I understand there are way more factors involved then the springs with articulation but the design is amazing.

Didn't you paint yours? I'm thinking about painting mine before install. I'm not too fond of the gold color.

Sure beats gold in my opinion. At least on a black Jeep. Gotta love Rustoleum.

The plated parts are good, but the hardware for the front bump stops (not plated) and the treads on the front sway bar links are rusty. I live in Phoenix, AZ. It been on for about 6 months.

Yeah it was brand new. Doesn't look like that anymore...lol

As soon as I pulled in the driveway from picking it up I started pulling crap off. The fenders were the first thing to go after the dealer sticker. My wife was just standing there watching me while shaking her head and mumbling it's brand new.

just as an FYI on metalcloak products, their vacuum pump relocation and many others puts it right in the way of an sPOD. didn't even occur to me until i went to install my sPOD.

also, the MC rear bumper/tire carrier is so tight to the tailgate, having a hard time finding a tailgate mount for my CB antenna that doesn't get in the way.

just a few minor points to consider. also, a warn 10s with the MC front bumper and sway bar disco motor relocated JUST barely fits ... great look though:Click image for larger version
