When I bought my MC kit the arms came preset for 3.5" coils with no length given for 2.5". That may have changed though.

I just installed mine and looked up their instructions to check lengths and they are the same for 2.5-3.5". All 8 arms

Either way when they open in an hours and a half I'll just call and get the correct measurement and I'll change them after work. Idk how I measured so far off. I remember the track bar being pre-set but not the arms

Have the rubber spring dampeners (or are they isolators) on top of the coils?

I suppose if you're doing both lowers and uppers you can get away with that, stretching it a bit. But for just lowers you are stuck dealing with fixed length uppers and your options are greatly reduced.

Typically 23" is a good starting point for lowers on 2.5" lift.

Actually if you look at the instructions again for all 8 their starting upper setting is same as stock I believe.

I just don't buy into the whole "set the uppers at factory length" thing. Why even buy adjustable then? Just for the added flex of the joint? It would be cheaper for MC to manufacture fixed arms for the uppers in that case. If you think about it, when you lift your rig you lose wheel base. The lowers can put some of that back as well as square the axle to the frame. Then use the uppers to find the correct balance of caster/pinion for your rig. That's how I did mine and I have not had any handling issues. But to each his own, I am certainly no expert but I know what worked for me.

Worked for me to. I didn't go with the lengths they have in their instructions. They are set a little longer but not much.

Dang I opened my email this morning only to find there was free shipping over the weekend. I called to see if they would extend a day for me and no luck so will have to swallow the shipping cost or wait for the next one.
