For ppl running the 3.5" duroflex kit, what shocks are you running? Brand and lengths? And why? Also I know it will probably look funny but I'm going to be running the 3.5" with 33's for a year, anyone got pictures of this? I have a 4dr.

I have the 2.5" with 33s and sitting at about 3.5+.
And the Lite comes with shocks: OME. But since you edited your post, this doesn't matter.

Springs are the same on the Dual Rate 3.5 and I was told measurements by MC and purchased Bilsteins on those measurements. River City Offroad also got the right part # when I asked them which size I should go with:

BILF24-186872 Bilstein 5100 - Front Shock (E174-H0) 16.41 Compressed x 27.56 Extended

BILF33-186887 Bilstein 5100 - Rear Shock - (E175-H0)16.96 Compressed x 27.36 Extended

Come on MC, send me my lift!!!!

If you really want a Bilstein shock that is comparable to the stroke of the OME shocks on the GCL then you need to bump up to the 5160 variant. The OME shocks actually offer quiet a bit of travel for a single chambered mono-tube shock. You have to remember the Bilstein 51 series shocks have an internal gas chamber to keep the oil under pressure and therefore from cavitating. This chamber costs some stroke. In the remote resovoir shocks the gas chamber is in the remote reservoir and the full stroke is retained. Granted the differences are marginal, but they are still different. See below...

Why are you avoiding the OME shocks? Arguably, one of the best monotube shocks out. Plus, MetalCloak selected them partly because they're tuned well to their coils. In terms of the 5100s, it seems odd to sacrifice ride quality and travel, to accomplish??

Disclaimer: I do not have OME shocks, but have had them. Hands down, they were better than the 5100s I had.

I would not put 5100 on a MC lift. The 5100 will kill any ride quality gained from their arms and coils. Do yourself a favor and cancel that order. Get the OME shocks they offer for their kit. You will be happier for it.

So should I get a hold of MC to get the proper OME s/n's for the OME's? I purchased these from a vendor and would like to continue business with them since it's my screw up.

My springs are 3.5.
