Default Mickey Thompson Classic 2 Rims and Suspension Question

G'Day all!

Have been told that the old wheels available in Aus for the JK are the Mickey Thompson Classic 2's in a 17x9 with 5.5 Backspacing.

Am getting a set of these on my JK with 33 12.5R17 Dick cepek FC2 Tyres.

Just wondering if these will fit (and not rub) with no lift.

Also have ordered a Teraflex 2.5" BB, some Teraflex Swaybar Disco's and some Procomp Shocks to suit. Will this be a good set-up flex wise?

Thanks!

Mate

I think you may need to double check. I have MT Classic II and they are 5by5 bolt pattern with 4.5 back spacing.
I am not sure with Teraflex or have no experience but I am extremely happy with Full Traction 3" Ultimate suspension.

Where are you abouts from Oz??

Ah

Just checked, sorry they are a 5x5 Bolt Pattern on a 17x9 standard Backspace (assuming 4.5).

Used to GQ Patrol stuff where things are still in Degrees!

I'm in Hobart BTW

Default MT Classic II's

Hi AusJK.
I am running the MT Classic II's with 33x12.5x17 MT Baja MTZ with a 4" Skyjacker. I think you will find with no lift you will get some rubbing.
Hi Zac have you sold your JK yet? I saw you revised the price on it!
Looks pretty cool mate, sad to see your letting it go.

Hello Mate
Its good to see some Aussies here. I am gald.
No I am mot selling my JK anymore. Thank GOD
I needed some extra money to help a friend or relative but that is sorted. I see you are from Sydney. Are you the one who had his JK done from CAL also.
I was the first escape goat and drove all the way to Cooma from Melb to get the suspension done.
How is the Skyjacker lift? I wanted to go with 35" Tires but bec of the height problem where i live i went with 33 and very happy. Cheers

I put on that exact wheel and tire combo with the Tera BB 2.5 and everything is great.

Hi Zac.
Yeah that's me. Cal did a great job on mine as well.
Good to hear you are not selling it mate
I am happy the the Skyjacker 4" so far, no complaints yet!
He did install adj panhards for me instead of the trackbar relocation brackets
that where supplied with the kit.
I will be going with a larger tyre when I redo my diff ratios possibly 37"
Just hanging to get some time outside Sydney with it ...
Well mate happy Jeeping and post a few pics of it in action when you can.

Cheers,

No mate have not seen them on any JK BUT have you seen the rocker guards from ARB they look pretty solid strong and they weld to the body. I am not sure with the pricing but the will be out soon.
