Did the teraflex leveling kit first, for the reasons that have already come up. Brand new tires that I didn't want to change and a full lift would look goofy with stock rims and tires. The kit gave me a little body roll. So I then added 1-1/2" wheel spacers. Not a dramatic change in looks, but it cancelled out the roll and made it feel stock again. The setup has worked great for me as my daily driver and with some mild wheeling. Hope the pics help

There can be great utility in large wheel diameter, up to a point. Those sadly, are past that point. For anything off pavement, anything at all, those ultra low profile tires on 22" DUBs are an impediment, regardless of tread pattern. They cannot be aired down, they cannot absorb impact, etc. They will also cost a fortune for the tire/rim combo. They are shiny and pretty though.

Check out the Rancho 2" sport kit. I got the kit with the RS9000 and I am really happy with it. The front is a little higher since they take into account a aftermarket bumper and winch but it is not much after it settles a little.

It's a LCOG build compared to running 37s on a taller lift (3.5"+), while still getting a shit-ton of flex and room for the big tires.

Cutting the body/frame down is another level altogether...

i agree, but thats my opinion on it...37s on a 2.5 could b e 37s on stock height with some heavy cutting... also i dont count something as a "build" when you just throw a kit on it and call it a day...or have a shop do it...

...and if you do it yourself?

What exactly do you consider a "build"?

Keep it Simple, if you are staying with stock tires, just get a Teraflex leveling kit. $130 best money I spent. Fairly easy to install and nothing else is needed. I also have the Spidertrax spacers, love them also. It is real easy to get carried away...KIS

Default i think springs 18/59

and some agressive tires with correct b/s to push tires out just a bit is good enough i havent done anything yet but when time comes ill do springs more than likely why mess with stock stuff unless you need it youl pay a PRICE for each mod you do nothing like factory ride
i dont want wandering and all that i dont rock climb so , id say build it to your liking but as a dd id stay somewhat stock Click image for larger version

Your an installer try and build your own kit and switch stuff up. Reminds me if the old built not bought motto wich seems to be dying... Don't get me wrong i still have mire respect if you do it yourself than a shop. But im not gonna get started and completely derail his thread.
