Matt,

I bought wheels and tires (32's) first and had some rubbing issues at full turn. They also rubbed the fenders slightly when flexed. I put a leveling kit on and that solved the issues. I ran this set-up for almost 2 years as my daily driver and was very pleased with the performance and fuel mileage. (19 hi-way, 16 city).

I've since upgraded with coils, Bilsteins, 315-70R17 DuraTracs and BW flat panel flares. I lost mpg until I could get a Superchips FlashPaq. The Superchips is a real improvement, it can fix a lot of little things too, like the speedo, TPMS and shift points for an auto tranny. It's not a fix for proper gearing, which is my next big mod. But its ok for now. I like my JK even more!

If you wheel it at all you are going to cry when you scratch your fancy new wheels. I had a set of Helo's on mine as it came with them(bought used). Rashed them pretty good. I bought a set of rubi take offs and rashed them even more. Now I have a set of procomp 15"x8" black steel wheels with 35s. As the wheels are only $55 a pop I dont really give a shit if they get rashed.

I'm gonna order the wheels some time next week, and get a set of 285/70/17 nitto terra grapplers. I already have a set of 15 inch bullet hole wheels that I am going to get a set of mud terrains for so I don't have to worry about scratching up my new wheels on the trails. Thanks for your advice on this stuff guys, it's much appreciated! I will have pics up as soon as I get the tires/wheels on the jeep!
