Money to burn...but how?
Ok...I have about $1600 bucks to spend and I can't make up my mind. I have an 09 JKU-X with a 2" BB and 33's. Original shocks got to go, but not sure if I should get the 2.5 OME lift with adjustable trac bars and LCA's or spend the money on new bumpers and OME shocks. Not much off roading here in Kansas..just getting to some farm ponds for fishing. My fear is the original springs will sag with bumpers (i don't need a winch). Any suggestions?
If you don't wheel it too hard i wouldn't worry about anything suspension except shocks. Spend 500 on some good shocks, 300 on some rails or steps, the rest do bumpers. That seems pretty legit to me, with 33s i wouldn't worry about sagging too much. And if you need new springs up front, find some higher rate stock springs someone got rid of for cheap.
