If I were on a tight budget, I would buy 4 new KM2s and 5 new steel 15x8 wheels with 3.75" backspacing.

With the 5th wheel, I would keep my eye out on craigslist for a 35x12.50R15 spare for cheap.

Then, I'd sell the Sahara wheels to help offset the cost.

With 3.73 gears and 35s, the overdrive gear will be useless on the highway except for downhill, tail wind circumstances. If you run with the overdrive turned off all the time and have your next purchase be a Superchips Flashpaq programmer, you could wait on regearing until after you graduate.

Don't waste money on an exhaust system. You can buy a muffler for under $40 that can be installed under your frame rail next to your EVAP canister. Total cost of about $100-$120 installed.

I would do the regear prior to doing the front and rear bumpers. Instead, I would buy the RC end caps for the front bumper and make my own stubby. I'd wait on the winch until after graduation and just make sure you wheel with friends.

The RC 4" lift is incomplete to run 35s with stock flares. You would need to add front and rear extended bumpstops if you offroad your rig.
x2 Good info, I would have said the same.

I wish I would have taken the time to make a thread similar to this before I shelled out almost $1300 on only 4 285/65/18 (33") nitto trail grappplers. Especially since a month later I bought 5 pro comp 15" series 52's wrapped in 35" KM2's for the same price. All in all I was only out a couple hundred bucks after I sold my nittos, but thats money I could have put towards another mod.

I'm on the same boat and I recently upgraded my tires. Discount Tire Direct got me a great deal and ships for free.

I got 5 35x12.5R15 Goodyear M/T with Kevlar mounted on MB Chaos 5. They fit perfectly on my 2dr with the Teraflex 2.5" lift. They were mounted, balanced, and shipped for $1500.

I'm sure for just tires it'll be cheaper. Give them a call, they're very helpful

Hope this helps

When it comes to tires, I only buy them from Discount from this point on.

I paid $250 to warranty all five of my tires and Ive used it already when I popped one putting an inch long gash in the center of the tread fooling around offroad. No questions asked it was replaced, only cost me $70 to transfer the warranty to the new tire. My 37's are about $350 a tire.

Also, they balance them for free and they even put a plug in for me at no cost. Before I bought anything from them.

It nice to have that kind of security ad customer service.
