Default mopar 4lo kit for np241

Wasnt there supposed to be a kit coming from mopar performance to replace the planetary gears and whatnot in a x model transfer case to give it 4:1. The case is the same minus the gears right? Anyone know? Anyone bought such a kit? Could someone walk into the parts department and just buy the Rock-trac parts? Or would it cost a ton?

I remember what you are talking about but don't know anything about it.

You're not making it up.

yeah, but I remember hearing that the NP241 rock-track and the NP241 walk-back both have the same case and whatnot, just different planetary gears. If I buy an entire transfer, I am gonna have to car-part.kom for it. I was thinking if I could buy the gears for a couple hundred bucks, and still use my case.... I would know the transfer case was in good shape and it would be cheaper.

i should have been more specific. I just want the parts that are different in the Rock trac to swap in mine. I rebuilt a transfer case a few years ago, and it was pretty simple. Swapping out a couple gears can't be hard.
