hey guys,

i need to buy a winch and im not sure which kind to go with.. i wheel as much as i can and when i get stuck.. well lets just say it took a duce and a half to pull me out. lol

so with that said what winch do you think i should get and will it bolt right onto my mopar bumper.. if not what will i need

Will, I'm going to use a Tabor 9K. It's out out by Warn. If I didn't already have it, I'd probably try that Smitty built winch for $300.

any idea if it will bolt right in or will i need a winch plate..

or for that matter will any winch i use need a winch plate

The plate is built into the bumper, you don't need anything else but the winch. Warn's will work better on the Mopar bumper because that's what it is set up for, not that you can make something else work, but the fairlead mount is offset on the Mopar bumper to match up with Warn winches.

I dropped a T-Max 10,000lb in my Mopar bumper.The holes in the bumper
didn't line up exactly, some filing was needed. Peter
