Thanks for the positive feedback ! It runs about $320 and it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes to do, with no rush ; )
Everything else is stock as of now but that's going to change soon now that I've broken the seal...

Was that directly from the dealership?

Do you notice any power gain? What muffler system/cat back system are you looking at?
Thanks for the insights

Yeah, straight from the dealership ... And I haven't looked at any exhaust options yet...

Did it add a nice growl up front when you step on the gas?
Looks great!

Sweet set up. I installed the K&N cold air intake system myself on my 3.8. I have a 6speed and I notice a huge throttle response and power after I installed it. I bought it on eBay for $190 and it retails for $300 in stores. I got a great deal on it.
This how it looks in my 3.8.

If this helps anyone if their looking into K&N as well.

Do you also have an upgraded exhaust or is that still all stock?
Having just joined this forum not very long ago, the information on here is fantastic.

I was wondering where I would put my CAI when I get it so your picture gives me some good info. With that system, percentage wise, how much more air intake has it given you? I was going to install one and then wait to see what kind of exhaust system I would put on later. I can't wait for "later" so going to do both at the same time ~ as soon as I figure out which exhaust system would be the best. Any recommendations?

I started using MOPAR accessories on 9 Dec of 2011 when I bought my first RAM 1500, then my second RAM 1500 two weeks later and then my third RAM 1500 a week later and finally my last RAM 1500. On the 3rd of March 2012 I bought a new Dodge Diesel 2500 4x4.

The "four" 1500's, while driving at most any in-town speed or on Interstates, etc, the engine would not completely stop but it would go into a "stall" mode. Dealer said it was impossible for four of basically the same kind of trucks to do that. All four were taken into the dealership over four times under the lemon law act. The blame was put on me for "touching" the brake pedal with the toe of my left foot. Wouldn't happen all the time but enough to where I had a few 18 wheelers trying to fit into the beds of the trucks. Come to find out it was a safety feature called TBS (Throttle Body Sensor) ~ in case the engine ran away on you, you just lightly hit the brake and it immediately stalled the engine.

Anyway, got the new Diesel and making mods to it. If it doesn't say MOPAR on anything I buy for it, I don't buy it. Only thing I really don't care for is I feel a lot of their stuff is over priced. But you get what you pay for. My jeep will have nothing but MOPAR parts on it.
