Default Mopar Front Bumpers

Anyone have an opinion on the Mopar bumpers? I looked at one at my local dealership a couple of days ago and I liked what I saw. It's pricey but seems to fit for what I want.
Opinions? Pics of the Mopar stuff installed on your JK would be cool too!!!

Honestly if your going to pay that kind of money for a full bumper, get an ARB.

Not sure what they cost new at this time, but here's a link to one on Craigslist in the Kansas City area. I have no affiliation with the fella; just came across it the other day:

Price is a bit high if you ask me, but he says it's never been installed.

I just emailed that guy in KC. Let's see if he bites on it. Told him I'd give him $500 if he picked up shipping to 71105. If not then it'll be back to square one. I really like the Mopar bumpers, but I would like to have a stubby front with a winch mount, factory fog light cutouts, and a stinger. Any suggestions?

rugged Ridge modular bumper will fit all of your needs and be cheaper than mopar.

I didn't take a picture yet, but just put one on mine last weekend. I liked the looks, but I liked some others as well. What sold me is the completeness and I was surprised when I got it about the attachment to the Jeep. I was under the impression that most aftermarket bumpers attached just to the end plates that are welded to the frame rails on each side (4 bolts in each). The Mopar offroad bumper with winch and fogs has a 2x2 steel tube welded under the winch plate that attaches on the inner frame rails (I didn't expect this). Looking at it, I am guessing that is is mainly to provide extra support for the winch. I liked that!!

The completeness of the kit is good too. They will have all the bolts and stuff you need to put it on. Even the extenders for the fog harnesses with male and female connectors. It just snaps right in. They even give you stuff to put your plastic skid back on if so inclined.

As far as cost - this seems like one of the reasonable ones out there. Pretty much everything except the modular was going to be more. I bought from Whycoff and shipping was only $35. Non of the dealers around here would drop off MSRP and Jeff over there was really good!

Just my 2 cents, and I am sure I will get flamed about this, but I think it is a more well thought out bumper, engineering and probably legality, than allot of others. If you have any questions, pm me.

As an FYI - adding the bumper dropped the front end of my Rubi by a smidge over 1/4" and setting the winch in there brought the drop to about 5/8" total.

I have one on my 07 Jk Unlimited and really like it. Good quality for the price and good fit. I like many others on the market but at around $550.00 it is tough to beat.

I've got a mopar on my rubicon and love it. I shopped around on line and got a great price, then took it to my dealer and asked them to match it. They did
I live in Maine, plenty of mud in the spring, rocks in the summer and salt in the winter. The powdercoat on my bumper is fantastic. I wrestled between the Mopar and the Shrockworks bumper. I chose the Mopar because it was lighter (still heavy duty) and because the Mopar bumper claims to retain the safety of the crush cans, an engineered feature of the stock bumper. Rather the crush cans are needed or not for air bag deployment is a subject for debate, but I figured the Mopar engeniers put them in the bumper for a reason. ARB is the only other manufacturer that I found willing to put in writing that their bumper was "air bag safe".
