Well I have read a couple places of people saying it's Rubicon Express but our dealer told us if was actually a Superlift kit. Told us mopar had a deal with superlift to contract 4" lifts through the mopar name. And to be honest if u go look at a mopar lift and pics of the superlift they look identical except for shocks.

it used to be rubicon express but, after they went out of business, i didn't think a mopar lift was even offered anymore.

Mopar does indeed still offer a lift (2"and a 4", and also used to offer a 4.5" longarm). I got a steal on my 4" that I'm running. Very straight forward and solid. Having seen an RE next to it, I can say they have a very similar build and such. Haven't worked with any superlifts so I couldn't tell you on that end.

The reg 4in and 2in spring lifts are Superlift/blackdiamond kits re-badged for mopar. The longarm 4.5 was RE. Although there are various dealers installing other lifts such as TeraFlex BB's , skyjacker, etc.and selling these jk's at an astronomical price on the lots. I know a person that just paid 8 grand for a tire /wheel lift package. The lift was a BB.

I'm asking because I'm thinking about a modest 2 inch lift. I may stick with the 32 inch tires, as they look pretty good on the MW3 edition Wrangler with the 2" lift. I might go 33's, though. I'll be putting tires on this thing probably by the end of next summer, so I can see how I like it with 32"s, first.

Thanks for all the info.

Hi dmwil,

I am thinking of doing the same. How much is the dealership quoting for this (labor included)?

I'm not sure. I was looking at going directly to Skyjacker, which is less than 300 bucks and either install it myself or have an independent shop do it. I might check the dealer out of morbid curiosity.

I'm going to go with the Superlift 2 inch kit. Anyone have any suggestions as to pitfalls to avoid or potential problems? Will my swaybar disconnect still work normally?

I'm sticking to the stock 32 inch BFG Mud Terrains, for now. I might go with 33's when my tires wear out.

One more...should I go with Superride shocks, or stick with my stock Rubi shocks?

Thanks for any help!
