Well i have a pretty big warehouse where i can do it so wind wont be a issue ima still cover everything up with newspaper, i just wanna tape off the area with some painters tape or masking tape, then sand it down (what grit sandpaper do you guys think i should go with im thinking 800 or 1000 grit), clean it with some mineral spirits, and spray about three coats on..

I voted mopar because my door seals don't really matter when you don't have the doors on. I bought the mopar guards too, but that was before I knew the miracle of dulpicolor. Spray-on seems like a great idea.

i just watched a vid on the dupli-color website for their truck bed coating spray, they suggested to use 80 grit they said make sure you get all gloss off before laying down the paint

EDIT: they also recommend the brush on one for a more of a rhino line texture, the spray doesnt allow all the additives really come out.. im thinking with the brush on i wont have to worry much about over spray or uneven spray

Mopar ones work fine for me and super easy to stick and forget. Gonna get all scratched up anyway.

Yep, I've got Mopar as well, but as I fitted them I did think about them creating a great gap for water to get in. They look good though.

do you guys think 80 grit would be too rough of a grit to use? thats what duplicolor recommends they say make sure you get all gloss off the paint first..

I'd be more concerned with sand and grit and water getting UNDER the mopar sills and rusting the hell outta it under there...but maybe they don't allow that? I don't know... are they designed to coutner this?
